1.Silver Snake Plant, pretty sure this is a new leaf, I didn’t notice it until recently.

2. Peanut cactus, is growing pretty fast. It should be putting off a new offset soon since it’s been a while since its last one, this one has recently became one of my favorites to watch.

3. Golden Torch Cactus, this one has also been growing fairly@fast since I repotted it.

4-5. My airplants little baby is getting bigger, how should I go about out separating the baby from the mom once is gets bigger ?

@TidyTigerpear I love finding new leaves on my silver snake plant, they're always so pretty 😍
@Charli3Plant I love my silver snake plant, I wanted one for so long before I had any snake plants but it was actually the third snake plant I got, my boyfriend got it for me for my birthday last year, I couldn’t find one whenever I went plant shopping, but finally came across one at a plant shop in Durham called stone brothers and Byrd. It hasn’t grown to much that I can see but I do know that snake plants are slow growers, but I recently repotted it, and it’s given me a two new shoots but they are soo slow 😩
@Charli3Plant if you look in the bottom right corner you can see the two shoots one is super small, and the other is a bit taller but it is so weirdly shaped. I’ll find a picture in a second
@Charli3Plant do you see what I’m saying ?? lol.. it almost looks like it’s braided? I have three other snake plants and I have never seen one like this, I’m not sure if this is normal or an anomaly 🀣 but it’s pretty cool I think.. I also started thinking if it was normal maybe it was something that this variety does ? Idk that might sound silly but I’ve just never seen it and didn’t think it was normal. At first I thought it was a flower stalk but someone else on Greg said it was a pup. So I just assumed that it was normal but the more I look at it, I don’t think it is 😬🀣
@TidyTigerpear That looks like normal growth to me. I've noticed that the leaves can develop asymmetrically sometimes, and the inner leaves will grow taller than the outer ones. I would just keep an eye on it; who knows, you might have a new spontaneous sport in development.
Hey! How does one care for an air plant? I want one but need to know how to care for one first.
@Yellowconverse they are super low maintenance, they don’t require much, just light I have mine in a sunny window sill, and airflow, and water every couple of weeks, you submerge it in water upside down , for an hour and let it dry out .
