A bit early for #freshleaffriday, in my region, but just look at that #newgrowth 😍 😍 😍
The #hoya I started to propagate just before I joined Greg is not only firmly rooted and happy, but also starting a new vine. I don't know how long this takes normally, but I really did not expect these kinds of results this fast. From this evening onward, I will count her as an established plant and give her a place in my oasis. Meet Annabelle. May she prosper. #hoyahangout #propagationstation #plantsmakepeoplehappy

@MusicalRedmint is THE one? The one you debated over how to plant, and it’s rooted?!? Woohoo!!
@TheOddAsity Yep, the very one. I thought about tagging you but was hesitant because I do this so much already. I posted about two weeks ago that it had rooted perfectly (I have it in a clear pot and the roots reached halfway through the pot). I was already blown away by the speed of the root growth, but I would not have thought, I would see new growth above ground this fast. πŸ˜€ thank you again for your advice or it would probably be still attached to the big cutting. (Which sadly still has no new nodes. But the roots are everywhere at least. As soon as I give up waiting for nodes and plant it, that should also be a success - unless I do something stupid).
@MusicalRedmint it’s growing season so everything seems to be surprising me right now!
@TheOddAsity you are right, of course. Still. Less than two months ago, this was just a leaf attached to another plant, and now it's a complete plant with an established root system. I didn't know how long it would take, but I would have said more than two months. Spring or no spring.
@MusicalRedmint I love plants for this reason. Some take their sweet time and won’t be rushed. Others, just wanna get the party started!!
