Chopped the top of my paraiso verde yesterday and Iβm thinking that once it roots in water Iβll start a new plant with this one - originally was planning to combine it with the mother. #HappyPlants #PlantsMakePeopleHappy #Philodendron
@teacher12 thank ya!
@GaryPoopins those are some cool leaves! And I like this window sill area by the sink. Perfect for plants!πͺ΄
@AwesomePlants Iβm all for that as well, but cutting + 3β bamboo stake and a small planter is probably tipping right over, even if cement. I found a taller 4β heavier terracotta planter that I figure Iβll give a whirl for this one after rootingβ¦ but I think Iβll keep the mother for a while longer just in case I kill the cutting. Then Iβll selfish-gift it to someone βοΈ Solid plan
@nellz4estfairyz Thanks! I love a good bay window π
@GaryPoopins Wowzers, thatβs a real beauty! Whatβs the mother look like chopped? If sheβs full enough to your liking Iβd let this baby speak for himself. Heβs already making a statementπ I keep enlarging your pic and admiring the Sweet variegations!
@GaryPoopins Such pretty variegation! Definitely needs to be his own plant! Good luckπ
@GaryPoopins Think pots that aren't pots! I use clear containers from dollare tree that I put holes in for these type of plants. I don't need a huge diameter, but I do need tall.
