I have a piece of a ZZ plant- two leaves, little stem, no roots. Can I propagate it? If so- how?
Westover, West Virginia
You can, but ZZ is a slow one to root. Maybe put it in pothos water. They recommend propagating by seperating out a pup— if u have access to the mama.🍀😍🥰.
That stem looks long enough. I have some zz props, I normally cut stems around 6 inches long, agreed they are slow growing but worth it.
Just be patient, you got this 😊
Definitely prop it in distilled water with golden pothos, I'm having success with ZZ cuttings, yes slow but have good roots in 2 months!!
Thank you all- I’m so nervous and way excited! I put him in Pothos water- fingers crossed 🤞🏼 💚
