I have not been around for while. It has been a doozy of a last couple of weeks (on top of the last few months)!
Long story short, we have had at least one of my parents living with us since April.
We were able to take our first camping trip of the year the last weekend in August and ended up getting in an accident with a possum… and totaling the camper (although we did find out today it can be repaired)! Then I moved my mom into memory care the Friday before Labor Day.
Then a week ago I tripped over the dog’s water dish and fell and now I have compression fractures in my back. And I need to be off work for six weeks.
The depression and anxiety have been hitting pretty hard. It is all I can do to keep up with altering my plants (and I have lost 4 of them).
But things are getting better. With just my dad loving with us life is a bit less crazy and we are working on getting him into his own place close to mom.
And I got my bonus at work for meeting contract standards. So hubby said I could order my top of my wishlist plant! So my philodendron glosorium is ordered!
A new plant does not fix everything but I have an amazing husband who wanted to do something to lift my spirits and he knew a plant would help!
I am planning on being around more often now (especially since I am spending 6 weeks at home with my plant babies)!

So sorry to hear that it's been well, a year basically. But I am so glad you have such a wonderful support system and that we get to spend a little more time with you!
Oh my WORD! You've been through so much!

I absolutely adore the way you share about your husband!! β™₯️

I hope you can use your recovery time to rest and recuperate!
@PlantMompy thank you! It is good to be back, even better to want to be back (if that makes sense)!
So grateful for my support system, including Ll@you amazing Greggers!
@sarahsalith it has been a year! I just told someone 2020’has got nothing on 2022 in my life! πŸ€ͺ
He is my greatest blessing and now seeing him care for me when he is a self admitted bad caregiver makes me love him even more!
That is the plan, whether I like it or not! πŸ˜‚
@GatherandGrow New gregger here, just sending you wishes for better times ahead. I hope the future finds you looking back with pride at your ability to overcome challenges.
Great wishlist plant!
