In love with your Xanadu 😌🌿
Yay! They’re all looking so great! I saw a Xanadu at a shop a few weeks back and I’m still kicking myself for not getting it. 😭 Will be singing Olivia Newton John until I get one πŸ˜‚ Enjoy! πŸ’•
@EagerPhlox Definitely they’re awesome! I have two in my garden (kicking myself I should have pictured my big one lol) Mine lives happily outdoors in zone 10. I’m going to test more aroids out when I can grow out some cuttings.
I was wondering where you were @HoyaAddict …hadn’t seen you in a little bit. Your plants are gorgeous!!!
@TJphilobsessed Aww you’re so sweet! I was having a bit of a bad time and didn’t want to bring anyone down haha. Things are looking better, just issues at work πŸ’šπŸ«Ά Hope you’re well and thanks for your comment!
@HoyaAddict Really lovely plants
@Ms.Persnickety Thank you ❀️🌱
I've been going back and forth about Xanadu, but seeing yours @HoyaAddict , I'm going to move it up on my #PhiloWishList πŸ’š
@HoyaAddict wow that Xanadu!!!😍😍 I can't wait for mine to get bigger!
What are your secrets to the birds nest fern? I’m new to it an am struggling with it? Greg wants me to water every 3 days, but seems excessive?!
@HoyaAddict wow they are all absolutely stunning Jasmine! πŸ’•πŸ’•πŸ’―πŸ’―πŸ₯°πŸ₯°
Awesome plants. πŸͺ΄
@Planthoader my secret? Leave it to nature haha. Honestly after planting I generally leave all my outdoor plants alone unless there’s a drought πŸ˜‚ so If you live in zone 10 or warmer. Plant her under a tree and leaf her alone. If you want her inside, remember Greg learns by what you do. If you think it’s suggesting too much watering use the snooze button, it will change its algorithm over time. They do enjoy a good misting indoors, so you could always give it that every day or so. Most ferns love moist (not wet) soil and birds nests only use their roots for anchorage really. They’re epiphytes and can live high up in tree tops. So they can absorb moisture through their leaves. Pretty cool plants. Good luck with yours!
@HoyaAddict thanks for the reminder. So when Greg says to water, I’ll just mist lol
