@LindsayH Ah, your tap water is what’s causing the white crusty build up. It’s not an issue. But do keep in mind that too much mineral buildup in the soil can hinder the plant’s ability to uptake nutrients. So, you might want to flush the soil with rainwater or distilled water at some point or you could replace the soil all together.
