I had bought my yucca palm from a grocery store because it was turning all yellow and it was sitting in a bucket completely full of water and had been for a long time. Which is why all the leaves looked yellow from being overwatered a LOT. I had to take the plant and pot out of the bucket planter and pour out so much water. Then had to let the pot drain as well for a long time. There was so much water it was super heavy. The pics you have remind me of that. I think I mainly saved the one I bought because it still looks kinda bad but much better.
It's a wonder how they're still aliveπŸ˜’πŸ˜”
Especially when they could have sold it to people before they were dead for up to 75% off! Smh!
It’s literally heartbreaking πŸ’”
I was literally dumping out the water from all the non draining pots.
Omg where is this??
These living in a literal mud puddle/dumpster.....Meanwhile my fittonia shriveled up because I turned the light on after 9pm....

@Jilliebeanstalk Walmart in Albuquerque.
Poor plants.
What a terrible waste of life!
That’s horrible! I hate it when I see plants in the store and they’re not taking care of them! οΏΌ Ive rescued a few myself! οΏΌ
A β€˜cheap store full of all kinds’ is near my work. They’ve recently started to get plants in probably because it’s spring here. Today they had tonnes of peace lilies completely flat and limp all over the tables, dying literally for a drink. It broke my heart, they were huge and flowering and I just know that every plant in that store will die. They’ll probably sell them half price when mostly dead. It infuriates me! It also breaks me heart! I would have been climbing in this dumpster trying to save plants haha
@angelw1975 πŸ˜‚β˜ οΈ I will not be adding a fittonia to my oasis now, thank you!
Heart breaking, it really is too bad that stores that have plants treat them like this, it infuriates me to see such neglect and obvious total lack of care πŸ₯Ί
@JungleLady505 Walmart in Monroe near me did the same thing. I saved sooooo many plants from the dumpster, and bulbs!! It’s so sad 😞
