Nun hat for my sensitive pseudolithos
More silly solutions to plant problems! Pseudolithos migurtiunis are sensitive to just about anything, including drafts (rip my previous pseudolithos), and it's been pretty windy lately. So I made her a little nun hat out of a coffee filter to protect her from a surprise stiff breeze! #Pseudolithos #RarePlants #modernproblemsrequiremodernsolutions

Thatβs such a cool plant. I have never owned one of those so it would be a learning process for me. Thatβs a good idea to block wind. Could also provide some shade if needed also I guess. Some succulents are definitely harder to care for than others Iβve noticed. I havenβt seen any like yours for sale locally. Only lithops and others
@SirLiquorice pseudolithos migurtiunis are still fairly rare plants. I'm lucky to have a nursery nearby who sells them, but I've seen them on Etsy as well. They can get to be pretty expensive, and unfortunately their care is still not super well documented, so they're definitely not for beginners. The one thing everyone who's owned one can agree on is that they do not tolerate mistakes; one wrong move and they'll disintegrate into mush π But I find them utterly charming and worth the hassle of keeping them happy (just one at a time).
