So my baby girl Daphne #RubberPlant isn’t doing so well. She was looking lush when I first brought her home about two weeks ago. I had to remove her from direct sunlight because she got some sunburn in a few leaves, and now she’s looking pretty sick. What did I do to her to make her feel so bad?πŸ₯ΊπŸ˜©
12ft to light, direct
3” pot with drainage
Last watered 2 months ago
It looks like your pot may be too big for the plant and needs soil that has more drainage!
Thank you @Nmadis She was in a smaller pot when I brought her home. I’ve been replanting them as soon as I get them home, but someone did tell me I have to let them get used to their environment before doing so. Do you think I can save her somehow?
@ValleyOfErlease my baby rubber plant thrived in a north facing window. Just right next to it. It didn’t like all the light. πŸ€·β€β™€οΈ
I agree this pot is likely just too big for this plant. I’ve done this exact thing before and just moved the plant back in to a smaller pot or propagated it to let it grow more but I know it’s a bit late in the year for props to grow
@ValleyOfErlease absolutely! And it would help to get a small grow light
