Does anyone else have a Rose of Jericho, AKA resurrection plant? It's neat and it's fun to watch open up when you water it! #roseofjericho #ressurectionplant #plantaddict #planttherapy #greggang
2ft to light, indirect
4” pot without drainage
Last watered 2 months ago
Cool
I do. They are amazing!
@JesssJungle I don't think I have ever heard of a Rose of Jericho, certainly never seen one until now. Seems appropriate to be showing a resurrection plant over Easter🐰🐣 new life and all that πŸ°πŸ‘πŸ‘ I will have to search now for a video of one in action. Thanks for sharing
@JesssJungle i managed to find a really cool time-lapse of the plant - impressive!!

@Seymour , that's a SUPER cool video! I liked the dramatic music lol.
@JesssJungle yes, the music but I am equally impressed with the plant as I have never seen that before, super cool plant. Thanks for alerting me to it 😎
@Seymour , absolutely! They are neat little flora. Someone gave me this and I was very intrigued with it!
@JesssJungle you have some great plants! I didn't realise it took days to open but it would be fun to use a time lapse camera. A nice gift 🎁
I have one but haven't revived it yet. Apparently they can be planted instead of just adding water so I'm trying to decide which method to go with.
@ballondusoleil , oh cool!! I didn't know that!! There's actually two in this bowl. Maybe I should plant one!!
@JesssJungle I haven't been able to find much more info but the little I did learn is that there's two types - only a true RoJ can be planted in soil after being revived in water. A false RoJ is actually a type of spike moss that should only be in water. But both are considered resurrection plants. So neat to learn about them!
