Did some trimming!

I finally got around to cutting off all of the dead/dying bits of my polka dot plants, leaving only the healthy stuff (which some extra pruning to try and make them grow in bushier), and I’m quite happy with how it turned out!!

They don’t look like much right now, but all the new growth that’s come through since being in the terrarium has looked super green and healthy, and I’m SO EXCITED to see how they grow!

Also, to deal with the mould issue, I sprayed it a couple times pre and post trimming with a dilute vodka solution so hopefully that and cutting out all the dead bits will clear it up!

How often do you airate your terrarium?
It's needs more light if you keep it sealed, and need to change the soil as it seems a bit too wet... that can take weeks to dry due to being in this deep glass container
@Floristsdaisy Ive had it partly open for about a week now, and then left it open for a few hours after I sprayed it with the window next to it open. I can see some of the roots against the glass and they’re a perfect white so I think they’re doing ok. Do I need to open it up regularly?
Glad to hear that you're opening the container, it does need an airflow as well as fresh air from time to time, doesn't have to be everyday.
The white roots are a nice signal that your plant is doing well.
I leave all on my terrarium cracked just a teeny bit all the time. A little itty bitty bit seems to be plenty. I'm really glad she's coming back around for you ❀️
