Rember that tiny fuzzy #hoya leaf a while back? It has grown π still slightly fuzzy but not for much longer, I fear. But there are new tiny fuzzies starting out. This is becoming one of my favorites, fast. Sadly, I damaged the other #newgrowth. I think it has a bit of connection to the plant left, though, so I decided to leave it on until it's big enough that I at least have a tiny shot at propagation. Wish me luck. #hoyahangout
@MusicalRedmint How amazing! If anyone can propagate it ,Iβm sure itβll be you . Sending happy plant vibes . Keep us updated
@Sassylimey Sp. Aff. thomsonii. Vermont hoyas has a great picture of one in bloom. I just couldn't help myself π the even younger leaves almost look like catkins, way more fuzzy than this. The crown ones seem to lose their fuzz almost entirely, but are still great.
@ILoveMyPlants thank you, Deb, though not entirely earned. Am still staying out on hoyas.
@Sassylimey She simply looked delightful in his photos, he says they are very fragrant as well and.... well... as you clearly can see: fuzzfuzz. π€·ββοΈ what's more to say. Oh. And I got it for 50% of, but that's just lucky me and icing on the cake. https://vermonthoyas.com/hoya-species/hoya-aff-thomsonii/

@Sassylimey oh. After your first comment on Vermont hoya, I thought as much. I was thinking about the dangers of scrolling through the site π for obvious reasons. And apparently with great foresight π
have fun hunting for one
@TheOddAsity yep. I agree wholeheartedly. And c they feel the way they look.
