@jcPlantProper hahahaa - I don't mind snakes either; I had a ball python for the longest time. His name was Monty. But then when we were building the house, I got bit by a baby copperhead a few years ago and that's when I found out I was highly allergic to the anti-venom that they gave me in the hospital. ๐คฃ Live and learn! ๏ฟผ
I live somewhat by a pond and we get so many toads around here, it kinda gets cold at night so they end up stuck on the sidewalk so I pick them up on my nightly walks with my pup. Because of the weather I supercharge them with my warmth and bring them home so one day I shall have an army to do my bidding! None shall oppose me and my forest ever again!
@sarahsalith I have tons of tree frogs on my windows at night. They eat the bugs attracted by the lights.
@HKMisawesome my kids pick them up and bring them into my plant room. They are EVERYwhere here. I love the songs they sing at night.
@jcPlantProper hey, snake lover here. Good news is that he's not venomous. Looks like a corn snake. They're good for controlling rodents.
I'm so glad it is YOU @jcPlantProper that is with the wildlife taking care of ALL my future plants, but I am a NO ๐ซ creepy, crawly, or slithery chick! I was just hopping on one foot outside the Dr. office because a spider was on my door handle and I was trying to move it along with my shoe!
@Pegster there was a HUGE red-eared slider all the way up by the house yesterday; it was the size of a dinner plate! We have crawfish in the yard, turtles in the lake, mosquitoes in my rain buckets, hawks and fox and coyotes going after my chickens- you name it, we probably have some version of it! ๐คฃ ๏ฟผ๏ฟผ
@sarahsalith yikes! You were very lucky! Baby snakes canโt control the amount of venom they dispense AND you were allergic to the treatment! Wow! So glad youโre here and with the Greg Community.
