Hello my greggie friends! I have an update on harry! He has undergone surgery and he was very brave during, his mom not so much.
He is currently residing in cactus jail, after being amputated. Along with a new home, soil, and some cinnamon to aid with any possible infestations. Also rooting hormone was applied at his booboo to make sure he can recover quickly. 🙏 I really hope he'll make it, he's my special little man. Rescued him from the garden centre about ten years ago. Holy crap. You did great! I know taking a knife 🔪 to our plants is terrifying but I know you did the right thing. And damn right use a lot of that #deathbycinnamon , that was smart too! Keep us posted! 🌱☀️❤️

It was very scary but i think he makes a better chance of survival if i did so, the base was looking sickly and leaving him like that would probably only result in even more rot spreading. 🥲 I am going to post updates for sure! And I'll keep a close eye on his Recovery ❤️🩹☺️
@WildlingWitch ouch 😓 just looking at the pictures, I feel Harry’s pain. That must’ve been very difficult for you to do! Kudos fingers crossed 🤞 that he’ll recover soon!
