Can this coral cactus be saved?

Someone asked me to save this poor coral cactus for them but I don't know if it's even possible...

I'm 99.9% sure it's been over watered, is squishy and the black parts have mold/fungus on them.

Take it out of pot, cut off rotten squishy parts, cut off mushy black roots. If anything left, let it air dry for 2 weeks. Put it in the pot with a hole, in succulent mix. Do not water. You have nothing to lose. Let it sit dry for 2 weeks. Let me know what's happening. I don't give it much chance.
@SvelteKingfern took it out of the pot and it was rotten all the way to the roots...): Cut off the good parts from the top and gonna let um scar over for a week or so and then go from there...
Yep, very important to let the wounds callous. Sprinkle the whole plant with normal kitchen cinnamon. It's a fungicide , not only a yummy spice.
Do not leave any rotten part. You need to cut 1.5 cm above the rot. Otherwise the rot will spread further.
Sorry, that is a grafted euphorbia, and there is nothing salvagable left to regraft. She's a goner... they let it get too far
Agreeing with @Dustmite it's definitely grafted. I'm not sure there's any chance for this baby 💔
Yep, nothing to save here 🥺
