Sooo, there was an art tour at a garden nursery, and a winery. So obviously my mother and I had to sample some 🍷 , and THEN went to look in the green house! lol The Hoya Australis Lisa was just tooooo beautiful to pass up. I actually saw it a week ago and regretted not buying it. And my husband said that I “already have one that looks just like it” in regards to the the tradescantia, BUT I don’t have THIS one. This one is a Red Silver. Very wide leaves, different than the others I have at home lol 😆 the Hoya heuschkeliana arrived in the mail today. Just a cute little 3” pot. @nellz4estfairyz good luck! I have read several posts on other plant sites where people say the same thing …. They can grow the harder ones but the Lisa is a struggle as well…I put mine outside beginning of spring in a very early morning sun and afternoon shade spot. If it thrives I will let you know !!! I have tried watering a bit more … then a bit less… it’s getting the right amount of water and how often is the problem!!!
@Hoyaobsessed these were thriving in the green house. They were in a south facing wall but I think it was frosted glass or something. I can’t remember. The soil was quite wet when I brought it home. I think they can get away with that more there with the bright light in the greenhouse. My house is no green house lol. But the one woman who works there said she had purchased one too and said that it had doubled in size, so next time I go there I will have to find her and ask her for care tips!
