@princesspitstop, well, WE call it Canadian Thanksgiving. ☺️ It’s the 2nd Monday in October. We’d better have turkey (even though my husband says it possible they have goose) ??? 🤨😅 Anyways, we’re so excited we were invited, and can’t wait to see our extended “family”, turkey or goose. Actually, I’m just going for the butter tarts. 😅

@princesspitstop, it’s a pastry tart with a butter sugar filling. Sounds like a pecan pie (but with more butter) without the pecans, and sometimes people add raisins. They are also making Nanaimo bars, theee layers consisting of a nut/coconut crust, custard and chocolate ganache. I ❤️ desserts. ☺️Yes, we definitely celebrate Thanksgiving in November, too.
