I was touring local nurseries in the #dmv today and came back home with these lovely succulents 🀩🀩🀩 #iamnothorder Some of them I need to identify. I see Echeveria Melaco and Ech.Mira here, but other two (in the pic 2) I don’t know. #SucculentSquad #SucculentLove #Succulents #Echeveria #EcheveriaMelaco #melaco #echeveriamira
Wow! I love Echeverias. Also could you help me out i still can’t figure out what is wrong with my elfstone Echeveria. it used to be full and dark but now it just looks like it’s struggling.
@Some_rando omg …. It looks very upset. I have one in my collection. I see edema on the leaves, and it means that the plant was constantly overwatered. I would recommend you dig it out from the soil, and repot it into new dry soil.
@vvvelo ok! Ill try that 😁
@Some_rando I like Echeveria either. I like plump succulents with big meaty leaves.
Is it bad that I can guess the nursery by the type of tag they use 🫣

These are all really pretty!
@tmbryant37 I guess all dmv nurseries have same tags cuz they buy from the same supplier 🀣🀣
I just know Meadows Farm and Merrifield have different tags. It's the only way I can remember where I got something from 🀣
@tmbryant37 hehe I got mine from meadow 🀣🀣🀣
@vvvelo did you find out what the two are that you didn't know the names? Just curious the one is kind of awesome!πŸ˜ƒ
@FirstCanna this one looks like Echeveria Mensa, Echeveria blue prince… I am not sure what it is. @AnthuriumQueen what do you think? Can you ID it?
@FirstCanna and this one, no doubt Echeveria Morani
@FirstCanna any thoughts about that first plant with no πŸ†” yet?
Could this be it
@FirstCanna it looks similar, but mine does not have this thick white layer of farina.
@vvvelo It looks like the Runyonii Holly Gate which has less farina than the others. Lots of hybrids out there. Nonetheless, oh so pretty!
@AnthuriumQueen hm… It seems like Holly Gate has round-shaped leaves. Mine has pike-shaped leaves
@vvvelo I think - from my own observation- leaves tend to stretch a bit once the plant grows. Not everyone keeps up with their form like you do @vvvelo 😁 I’ve seen young foliage look different once mature. Could that be it? I’m not sure but it does look like a runyonii. There are too many hybrids out here now.
@AnthuriumQueen i agree the leaves may stretch…
@AnthuriumQueen but at the same time I like total Photographic similarity. I believe that nurseries grow plants with β€œdefault look”.
@vvvelo I agree. I have two that look nothing like they did when brought home. It was fairly young and I wondered about it. Turns out it wasn’t what they thought it was. I ended up with a neon breaker which wasn’t what they said it was. πŸ˜… Sone of them just look different when young. πŸ€·πŸ½β€β™€οΈ
Hmmm…I see the melaco…I’m thinking…I’m so exhausted I can’t even think of the names!!
@vvvelo that’s a Lola
@Yeeha234 no. It can’t be Lola. It looks completely different compare to Lola.
Okay. I said I was πŸ₯±
@Yeeha234 ☺️☺️☺️☺️
Moranii or Morsen? Orpet maybe. Still working on the bottom R
