20” pot with drainage
Last watered 1 week ago
@sarahsalith not sure how that got there! But that sure does look like an N’Joy
I agree with @ForFoxSake it looks like an N'joy. Your plants love to mix and mingle. πŸ˜‚
Is that recycled soil? I have never seen a pothos bloom so I wouldn’t know how to even suggest how a seed got in the soil. By the looks of it this seems to be the culprit
Thanks, oh @ForFoxSake, but I'm pretending it is #MonsteraGregarious - A fluke of nature that has produced a variegated Monstera after seven years of growing with me.

Honestly, it probably is an N' Joy, but my N' Joy has not been within 20 feet ever and I have never seen a pothos seed in my life and that isn't recycled soil ... so I pretend it's just a gift from Mother Nature πŸ˜‰ I am just enjoying being blissfully ignorant. 😁
@sarahsalith it just makes me respect how much plants want to live and find ways even more than I did before. When I see a tiny rootless, leafless, pieces of stick turn into a plant despite all odds it’s just #🦊 🀯
@sarahsalith fun fact from reading about how your rogue pothos (variegated monstera):

Pothos blooming is ultra-rare and generally doesn’t occur until the vine reaches 35+ feet in length. If you have a pothos wrapped around a moss pole it’s possible it hit this maturity milestone.

I am fascinated though how it would then self-pollinate and then deposit the seedling into your planter. I blame #BeneficialBugs but I will be asking a botanist friend of mine how this may have happened.
This is cool πŸ˜πŸ’•
Looks like my N’Joy!
You’re going to have a surprise!!
Yup! Small baby N’Joy but I will also start to think it’s a baby albo πŸ₯ΉπŸ€
@kscape I'm pretending it's an albo. πŸ˜‰
Oh @ForFoxSake - additional factoid: when this plant came up, it came up as two completely green leaves. Only after a few weeks did the leaves turn white (seemingly overnight). At first I thought it was dying, but then it kept growing with the green and white.
Monstera #Goals πŸ’š
@sarahsalith do you use your finger to check the soil? Maybe that's how you got the cross over.
With that plant, I don't check the soil with my finger, I lift the pot to tell how wet the soil is. πŸ€·β€β™€οΈ @LatiTish84
:welp: There goes my theory. πŸ˜‚ @sarahsalith
Hmmmm I wonder where this little guy came from tho…I’m researching for the new #Monthos, Monstera Pothos πŸ€” @sarahsalith you May have created a new plant 🀣
What a beauty! πŸ₯°πŸ˜
Now THAT'S what I'm talkin about, @kscape!! πŸ˜‰
