Happy Tuesday to all #brunchataudreys plant 🪴 parents 🧑🌾 !!! It’s a cool, cloudy ☁️ morning here in SoCA. Greg claims lots of plants 🪴 🪴 need 💦 today but with this foggy weather lately I doubt few will actually need it. Anyway first up is a little pot of propagated SOD🐬 🐬🐬🐬. I hate to throw cuttings out so I’ve got a few SOD’s around the house. This one in a bright, southern window about 5 feet away seems to be happiest. Best color and chonky little 🐬 🐬🐬🐬 👏. 2nd is new leaf on Panda 🐼 syngonium 🥹🥰. Next is teeny SOP pot with SOP cuttings from momma 🪴. Silver Dragon 🐉 has lots of baby leaves poking through the older leaves 👶 🌱. Lastly the anthurium bakeri with 2 flower stalks. Last time it bloomed/went to seed I harvested them and got about 12. They’re all in 2” pots now. Hello plant family. Worked from home today looks great but I feel a breeze from the window. So can’t take the coat off yet here in NY. Here’s my line up for today. Can’t remember what they are off the top of my head but here I go. The first one last week just popped through the soil and look at it today. The second move it to a new spot 2 months ago and it’s giving me all this beautiful color. So many giving me so much ❤️

@CourtlyKingfern good evening Evelyn! It took me a while to get the knack off the strings. It’s really a balancing act between just enough water and not too much sun. Not easy plants to grow from small plants. Very temperamental youngsters! 🤣 🤪

We definitely have a plant in common…..String of 🐬🐬🐬🐬🐬, which I have repotted today, my before and after. Also my Chalice Cup Vine is sprouting purple leaves/flowers! @MariansOasis Hi Marian! Love your panda Syngonium! I've been eyeing one on Plant Proper for a while, where did you get yours?
@CourtlyKingfern Hi Evelyn! You mentioned having issues getting your string of pearls going. Half my "string of's" started as small cuttings, & I found a trick to get them to grow better. It's all about making sure the stems stay in contact w/ the soil. I make U-shaped pins out of 20 gauge coated wire to anchor stems against the soil, it's worked great! Here's some pics showing how I did it with my string of bananas 😉
