This is La Princessa, my pink nerve plant, and the plant ...

This is La Princessa, my pink nerve plant, and the plant I’ve had the longestβ€”she’s been with me since I moved into this house in September, the start of my plant journey. She is easily one of my favorite plants, though we struggled intensely for several months. But I learned her quirks and she has doubled in size under my care. It’s so rewarding when you get a plant to really thrive. #HappyPlants #PlantsMakePeopleHappy #NervePlant #plantamigos #FavoritePlants #colorfulplants #Fittonia

She is a beauty. I have a red one that is nowhere near as pretty as yours.
@LaSiguanaba yeah πŸ™ŒπŸ» RoseRed.. happy dance on that for sure!! πŸ•Ίβ€οΈπŸ’ƒ
@Ninabeena Thanks! We had a love/hate relationship for a while, but now we’re all good! πŸ˜‚
@CourtlyKingfern You bet!!! πŸ’ƒπŸ»
Beautiful, she looks very pink 😍. @LaSiguanaba do you any tips you have learnt that you can share? I keep struggling with these.
@TheLonelyDaff Thanks! The most important thing with nerve plants is to make sure the soil never dries out. You don’t want it soaking, but it needs to stay damp constantly. Also, keeping it in bright, indirect light helps keep the color vibrant. I have also been using We the Wild products, so perhaps that is helping as well. Some friends and I are starting a podcast on plant care soon, and one of our early episodes will cover nerve plants! Stay tuned!!! πŸ˜πŸ˜‰
Glad you worked it out. It’s beautiful 😊

@SmileyGrass Thanks! Me too! 😁
Wow! She is gorgeous! I've had mine for about a year and have kept her nearly on the brink of death for too long. It makes me sad. Maybe if I move her to the side of the grow light rather than under it, she will do better. She is struggling...
@Plantaholic78 Nerve plants can be tricky… it took me several month to get mine to keep from wilting every time I looked at it, πŸ˜‚. But I’ve mostly struck a good balance with water and light at this point. Fingers crossed 🀞🏽
@LaSiguanaba I'll keep an ear out πŸ˜‚
@LaSiguanaba that plant had a real nerve to be so temperamental!
@Seymour Yes, this plant really is quite nervy!!! πŸ˜‰
@LaSiguanaba so what type of lighting are you using for this plant ?
I just bought one of these today!
@Seymour It is kind of far from an east facing window, so I supplement it with a growlight for about 8hrs a day.
@TastyForkedrush It’s a great plant! πŸͺ΄
Omg she is gorgeous I just bought my nerve plant 2 weeks ago and I am currently in that love hate relationship lol
@Cozy_dai I know what you mean about the love/hate relationship πŸ˜‚ It took me forever to learn how to water this plant, and keep it from fainting! Good luck!!!
