I just got this money tree off of Amazon a couple weeks ago and I just repotted it. It has this section of leaves, should I cut them off? If so should I cut the whole section off close to the stem?
Here for the comments
I would leave them on. They are still green and helping the plant. You wouldn't want the plant to go through too much shock after the repot. :) But that's just my advice. In a couple of weeks, you could chop where the shoot comes off the stem
For mine, I usually wait until they fall off with a light tap. It might not be technically correct, but it has been working for me.
Hi there! @AngelCapnoides
I would cut them off as that will signal the plant to get busy putting out new ones. 😊 To be clear, I’d cut off that one set of leaves close to the main stem. It’s good to sterilize your shears first so as not to cause any infection. 😊
