Meet Ferdinand, my 7-year Boston Fern

I adopted Ferdinand on October 31, 2016! He is my oldest plant. He was a rescue. I have been married for 7 1/2 years and I have had him for 7 years! #plantsofthe40thstreetbungalow #FernFriends #BostonFern

Ferdinand is always with you, even in your car. 👍

All my plants are rescues. It's like giving them a 2nd chance.

@KindOfABigDill He is! He has been split in 4 twice in the last 7 years. He goes out to the backyard every summer and grows like crazy! Thankfully when we bring him in for Nebraska winters his growth slows a lot. 😄

Do you ever give him showers? My mom used to take her fern and water her it in the shower for a few minutes. Hers were huge too!
