Disappointed with tiny Ben Badis

I got my new succulents yesterday. This time I’m disappointed with #thenextgardener store. The plants came very very small. Ben Badis looks like a baby plant. 😢😢😢 This is not what I expected from this store. #SucculentSquad #SucculentLove #newsucculents

@vvvelo that looks like edema scarring to me maybe? Similar to scarring I've got on a sedum and one of my echeveria plants that were both soaked before I got them.

I'm sorry they arrived so small but they do look very healthy at least.

@tmbryant37 this plant has weird marks on the leaves. I don’t even know what it is. I hope it is not scale, and this is just a mechanical damages from insects.

If it's scale it would be on top of the leaf and relatively easily scrape off.

@RJG do you think that this is not scale. I just tried to remove it. It is not that easy. I had to slice it with sharp knife 🔪

@vvvelo that's not scale then. Scale should come off like scab kinda. It should hang on for a second but then should come off pretty easy. I would use a toothbrush on my prickly pear that had it bad.
