Monday Morning Gratitude
I've had plants since I was 8, but some years ago, I threw myself into MORE plants (along with another vice) to deal with the feeling of a lack of control in my life. I thought some #PlantTherapy would help. I struggled to realize which way was up.
I ordered yet another plant to fill the void and there was this eye-catching card in the box that said I could try a new plant care app for free. By that time, I had tried four different apps to keep up with my 300 plants -- it wasn't that I needed help caring for them, I needed help REMEMBERING how many I had and where I had mislaid them. 😆 That card opened a door to something I never imagined would become this amazing #GregCommunity ... the #BestAppOnTheInternet!!
After more than three years, I struggle to remember people's usernames (becuase I follow so many that my friends list doesn't load any more 😉) but each of your profile pictures is burned into my memory. From @strawberrymoon and her succs to @BehattedLlama and his props. And my favorite #PlantJokes started by @Lauratends well over two years ago and a big shout-out to @planthoe40 for keeping it going! When I need a laugh, I just scroll. 🤣
I type all this to say, #PlantFriendsAreTheBestFriends and you know who you are-- I can't tag everyone becuase I'll forget someone. Thank you #GregTeam for putting so much effort into this app; I know it has been a labor of love. It is my favorite place on the Internet. The #GregGang and #GregGivesBack have helped me though a tough time, and it's time for a new chapter in my life. I'm looking forward to watching this app and community bloom and flourish!
And, for the first time, I will use #PLANTMAFIA (even though I don't have the mug😉) becuase #PlantsMakePeopleHappy even the #NotSoHappyPlants

You rock Sarah. The strength persistent and positive new you have been inspiring to me many many others, I am sure. I want to say thank you for sharing and giving hope to those who think there is none left. You are invaluable to our plant community. @sarahsalith as always, very well said! I couldn't agree more! Although I've been using Greg less than a year (will be a year in August) I've already gotten to know some truly amazing people that have restored my faith in the human race. Everyone I've gotten to know is a genuinely kind, giving and caring person and I thank @RJG and @alex and the rest of the #gregteam for bringing like-minded, decent human beings together in one place. My hats off to you 👏🏻🫶🏼

Please forgive me, plant mafiosos 🙏🏻🥲 @sarah10orio amazing post and I feel the exact same way about this app and community! I have all but abandoned all other forms of social media because nowhere has so many kind and genuine people and I love getting to talk and ramble about my favorite thing (plants) without being treated like a #crazyplantlady, because we’re ALL crazy plant people! 💚🪴✨🌿 And you are one of the kindest people on this app! You’re so welcoming and helpful and generous with your time and knowledge. In fact, I think you were the very first person to help me when I joined, with a spider mite problem I was having! Hahaha! #PLANTMAFIA is not exclusive, @BabeVila - it's just one of the first big communities that popped up on Greg thanks to @RJG and all his friends he brought onboard. I joked that I wasn't going to use the hashtag until I got a mug that said Plant Mafia. But Greg has grown so much, I just don't want to lose contact with the OGs that I've met here.

And my plant obsession which starred quite recently, as well as this amazing community! @sarah10orio awe thanks! It’s me and my granddaughters💕💕. And yes thank God things don’t stay the same. For 19 years my marriage was made extremely difficult because of my husband’s love of alcohol being above his love of me and his family. One day back in 2012 God got ahold of his life and changed him completely and in turn gave me the marriage and husband I’d always dreamt of, the the father all 5 of our kids deserved. So YES…I will be the greatest cheerleader because I know first hand what it can don’t a person and their life and the lives of everyone around who loves them. ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️🙏🏼🎉🎉🙌🏼

@sarah10orio thank you Hun! Yeah just passed a full year 💪😎 What's more my partner of 19 years and I ildid it TOGETHER! which is statistically near impossible (as I'm sure you know! Lol 🤦♀️ but we tried splitting and that didn't work, can't live without the daft bugger it turns out 😂). But somehow we went from enabling each other to supporting each other... Who knows?! 🤔 It worked! That's all that matters 🥰 and now we're enjoying a whole new relationship with our grandkids, after years (when they were very young) of being just too unreliable to be counted on 🤩 I am truly blessed.
