Haven’t treated myself with plants in a while… so I place...
Haven’t treated myself with plants in a while… so I placed an order this morning! Super excited. I lost my PVN to powdery mildew so I thought I would start with a new one for this upcoming spring ! It’s hard giving up on plants, but the possibility of it spreading to the rest of my oasis, is far to large for me to risk it ! I also have developed a graptoveria fetish recently… they are just so pretty! I credit this new obsession to @pachyfaeria and her beautiful graptos! Can’t wait to show the #GregGang when they get here! Do you guys have any new plants ? Drop pics below! ⬇️ 🌿💚🤗 #SucculentLove #PlantTherapy #PlantAddict #iamnothorder #Graptopetalum #Graptoveria #SucculentSquad #Succulents #Succulent
@NotableKonjac love yours as well! What is the black one? It’s exquisite!
@NotableKonjac yes the fee was about ten dollars total. I was actually pleasantly surprised at the prices and everything my total total came out to $26 and that was before shipping and I had about six plants in my cart. They are 2 inch pots but still I felt like that was a pretty good deal and then the shipping is 2 to 4 days Standard shipping so $10 wasn’t too bad for that either and I used a 15% off discount! (NEW15) if you decide you want to order something ! I also LOVE the color of those hens and chicks !
@BabeVila me too! I’ve been wanting a Debbie for a while or Margaret rose. I also am very excited for the green pearl! It’s like PVN’s cousin! lol
@TidyTigerpear I’ve never ordered succulents online before, I’m too impatient lol but next time I get paid I think I might! There’s such a great selection and kinds I’ve never seen or heard of before! And they all look so much healthier than the big box store ones usually do. I often have to do some rehab with my purchases from the stores. I think you’ve sold me!
@BabeVila i’ve tried it quite a few times my all-time favorite is planet desert. They have very good quality and healthy established plants but they are a bit expensive but you pay for the quality. This is my first time ordering from mountain crest Gardens but they have a pretty good reputation, so I’m looking forward to seeing the results, I’ve also ordered from Leif and Clay but I wasn’t too happy with most of my purchases from there. It was my first time ordering something bear roots, which means it doesn’t come with a pot. Some of my plants made it from that order but not all of them I’d say I prefer it being in a pot because for some reason it seems like the roots are more healthy in that case.
@BabeVila I agree with as far as it goes with selection that’s one of the reasons I do it also they’re not always as prone to having pests or diseases like Home Depot or big box stores may have I’m not saying it’s not a possibility, but it seems like it’s far less likely! I agree about the impatient part but sometimes it’s worth the wait for healthy. Happy pretty plants. 🤗🌿💕
@BabeVila hen and chicks 🙂
@NotableKonjac thank you! It’s really beautiful. Great find 🩷
@BabeVila thx!
@TheOddAsity no I haven’t ! But then again light differences can change the color on them!
@RefinedSandwort yes I haven’t bougt any plants since after Christmas, I’ve done much better but it’s fun to get new plants and watch them grow!
@TidyTigerpear Soo pretty… wishlist add!
@TidyTigerpear I’ve had good willpower avoiding the online purchases (aside from my initial succulent order). It’s strolling through the stores/garden centers that gets me. Might have to do an online order in the spring after I’ve built up a wishlist!
@RefinedSandwort I’ve had the same experience! I haven’t *yet* ordered any from internet. The temptation of the stores is hard to resist tho. Fortunately it’s winter and generally cold that prevents me from going out to the stores!
