Grateful for community and new 'Wishes'
This is a long oneβ¦.
It has been a rough year. We have had one or both of my parents living with my husband and I since April.
We were the primary caregivers for my mother who is living with dementia until I was able to get her on Medicaid and moved into a memory care facility.
We were my fatherβs primary caregivers while he dealt with an infection that involved 4 surgeries, a month in the hospital and 2 weeks of inpatient rehab before he moved in with us.
The week after moving mom to memory care I tripped over the dogβs water dish and fell in the kitchen fracturing a vertebrae in my lower back.
All that to say that I have not been active for a while but I have been present and seeing this community interact and support each other has done my heart such good!
For a long time now it was all I could to even water my plants on a schedule and seeing people in this community like my moments made me smile!
Thank you to all of you for who you are and what you do, just by being yourselves!
Oh and bonus! I finally felt like I could add some new babies to my home and I picked up a wishlist plant from Samβs Club, on sale left over from their October pink plant promotion! Fiona is quite happy tiny out of that tiny pot sitting in standing water! #plantsofthe40thstreetbungalow #Agleonema #agleonemawishes #PlantTherapy #GregGang
