The weekend is sadly coming to an end.. ๐Ÿ˜ญ but I will say I had a good weekend and stayed pretty busy ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿป I also did lots of plant chores & related activities. Got new pots & much needed dirt, I got to replant more than a few plants that were due for repots, & the rain took care of my watering for the next week or so.

Here are some pics from my northwest window, which I call my haworthia window. It holds all of my haworthia & similar plants like my alworthia, gasteraloe hybrids, & aloes even an Adromischus.

Generally I just feel like haworthia are so underrated as far as an easy plant/easy succulent. There are so many different types, and they can vary so much from plant to plant. Anyways enough of my biased Haworthia rant ๐Ÿ˜†

1. Variegated zebra plant
2. Star cactus
3. Gasteraloe โ€˜Apolloโ€™
4. Adromischus Rupicola
5. โ€˜Firebird aloeโ€™ (repotted)

@TidyTigerpear Beautiful! ๐Ÿชด Since you got so many Haworthias, do u perhaps know when theyโ€™ll start to come out of summer dormancy? Iโ€™ve got a Cooperi one and sheโ€™s not been growing since months.. I hope sheโ€™ll start to do something now that is autumn (here).. ๐Ÿ˜ฎโ€๐Ÿ’จ
@EatMoreVeggies early to mid fall. Usually September / October. Do you keep yours outside because even though theyโ€™re slow growing, I feel like mine have pretty much grown throughout the summer. They are inside so I was wondering if that may be the difference because I know when theyโ€™re outside (more direct sun) warmer temperatures, they tend to go into dormant same with Aeonium & Andromischus
@EatMoreVeggies she will! Give her some time! Do you use any fertilizer ? I use granular slow release fertilizer and since itโ€™s about to be their season, I would recommend repotting and maybe getting a little bit of that and mixing it in with your soil because thatโ€™ll feed them when theyโ€™re in theyโ€™re growing. And donโ€™t feed them over a long period of time. Iโ€™m not sure when the last time you repotted it is, but that may be a good idea if you want to see some growth.. update me!
This is the fertilizer they carry it at home depot and I think sometimes Walmart @EatMoreVeggies
@TidyTigerpear thank you very much! Yes, I fertilize sometimes and sheโ€™s placed indoors.. Iโ€™ll wait then, hoping for something to happen ๐Ÿ˜ฎโ€๐Ÿ’จ thanks!
