Hi, I am looking for tips and recommendations on how to properly care for this plant. My husband gifted to me for Mother’s Day and I really love it and would love to preserve it as much as I can. I also want to repotted it but not sure how or what soil to use. Please help 💗

So there are several plants in there: a hydrangea, maidenhair ferns, and English ivy.

all of them like to be kept moist and so I don’t think they should struggle from competing water needs. I would just be sure to keep the soil moist but let the top couple of inches dry out between watering. Soil that is too wet at the roots will harm all of these plants with root rot.
