Here's what I've figured out so far for the carnivorous terrarium. There is a at least 20 different kinds of pinguicula, 12 different kinds of utricularia, and 5 different kinds of drosera! #happyplants #plantsmakepeoplehappy #plantaddict #planttherapy #utricularia #pinguicula #drosera #carnivorousplants #carnivorousclub #cpclubthursday #cpterrarium
@PleaseLeaf wow π€© thatβs an ambitious terrarium and I would love to see more photos !
That is SOOOOO cool Bri! ππ How long did it take you to put it together? I wonder if my Jim would give in on the whole CP thing if I put them in a terrarium? So far he's a hard no on CPs π€£ they freak him out for some reason (no idea! Except tropical pitchers, I can understand that coz they ARE freaky looking! π) but I would LOVE to have a set up like this! I was planning to just get a ping and tell him it was a succulent π€£ and I'd never heard of Utricularia, but they're beautiful when they flower from what I've seen online in the last 5 mins! ππ
I'm so impressed π well done you! Xx
Those sundews are so pretty! What are the water drifting plants you have in there?

@JenniB81 I spent a few hours on it! There is utricularia gibba and utricularia graminifolia in the water (gibba floats) then there is two different kinds of salvinia which is just a super common non carnivorous aquarium plant. It'll look better over time but I will have to completely tear it apart every couple of years when it either gets overcrowded or the moss starts breaking down and it has a water filter. It's not a completely maintenance free solution but it's pretty so whatever. π
