It's in time for Thanksgiving! You should put it on the dinner table and invite family over
@Dariasgarden lucky! My school has like 0 plants and stuff. I mean, we have a "garden" in our courtyard with only two planters, but we can't touch them.
(long explanation you don't need to read, the "entire school" is technically split, the elementary is one school and the middle + high is another, yet they are RIGHT next to each other and the middle school hallway is connected to the elementary school)
Anyway, the garden is taken care of by the 2nd graders, yet they do TERRIBLE at it (they don't even know when to pick the fruit they grow💀) and now all of the plants are dead. Now, our courtyard is nothing but two lifeless planters, tables (with "chairs" attached), benches, and a bunch of gigantic concrete slabs. Seems nice until you see/hear young, oblivious children yelling and disrupting the peace it contains.

@LaSiguanaba Awe really 💕 how tiny is tiny? Mine is pretty small. She's in a 4" pot. I was debating on getting the ones that they had in a hanging basket for $20 or the 4" cactus for $5. My logic, it will grow 🤞 and I had a fiver in my wallet so it was destiny 😂 What color are your blooms?

@StarryKentia Girl! I know! Fortunately a False Christmas cactus is a Thanksgiving Cactus. It bugs me too. The care card they stick in there when you buy them said it was a Christmas Cactus! SMH Who do they think they're fooling? 🤣🤣🤣

@LaSiguanaba You're not kidding!!! I felt like I was spinning The Price is Right wheel!! HAHAHAHA I'm playing. Everyone of them are beautiful!! That says a lot having that many plants and they are all thriving!! You can be as crazy as you want to be! You've earned it! 😁💚
@princesspitstop Yeah, I realize I’ve got a problem 🤣 The thing is, I buy a lot of tiny plants in 2 inch pots. So, it will be interesting when all those tiny plants become not so tiny!!! 😁😇

@princesspitstop WOW! They are fabulous!!! Well, I think our Christmas cacti can bloom, but they don't have enough care in public places, most of them are rotten and sick, so...I've never seen a blooming one here. Anyway I heard there is a Thanksgiving day today! Happy holiday!!💚
@Dariasgarden Yes ma'am! Turkey Day! Usually spent around a big table full of food with family you only see once a year. I have a large family and we're all scattered across the country. My immediate family is 4 hours away. My son has to work today and my husband has to work tomorrow so we are skipping it this year but will be getting together between now and Christmas to celebrate the holidays together. As long as we all get together before the end of the year I'm happy. 🥰
@Catplantaddict Oh, that's disheartening... But you know, it's better to have 0 plants at school, than dying ones, cause there is no people to care for them. I give an example. I work at school and there is a big pot near my class. The peace of stick look at you (haha) from this pot (I think it was something like dracaena long time ago). And the most horrible thing is that the pot become a trash can. And not because of children. There is a cleaner fault, she throws smth like hairy dust bunnies from rag in it 🤢 Also we have half bold ficus..... Now I don't have enough time to help these poor buddies..
@princesspitstop oh, dear Heidi, I'm sorry. Sounds really sad. But sometimes it happens. I hope next year will be better! At least you can celebrate a bit later. Turkeys are always sell in stores..) You know we have such a problem in New Year, it's often a work day for lots of us, so we have to work and in the eve try to clean our houses, make a holiday dinner and wait for our working family members😀 Happily it's not every year!!!

@Dariasgarden sorry to hear that. To be honest, now that I think about it, there's two plants I can name. The librarian has a kind of bonsai in his library, and there's what looks to be a monstera of some type in a room called the Video Lab. Both plants seem to be happy.
@Catplantaddict we have plants in the library too, but that's the only place where they are good looking. So it's better to have a couple of plants that are carried by someone, than the whole collection without any care
