Today was a Repot & Rescue Shop day! 😍πŸͺ΄πŸ’š - Part 1, The Morning Repots β˜€οΈ

Repotted several of my babies today! Had some major #rootbound plants (check that #MarbleQueenPothos and #Caladium #RootPorn!) and some that just needed better pots in general. I discovered that I need way more little pots than I thought πŸ˜©πŸ˜‚ And I also potted my #HeartleafPhilodendron cutting! 😍

Was also a repot day for me! Yours will be happy to be in a bigger pot for sure.
@GreenPrincess yes, definitely! 😍 and repot days are the best! πŸ™ŒπŸΌπŸ™ŒπŸΌ
Awesome!!! How do you know when to repot? Is it when there’s lots of new growth?
@plantmama88 if the plant is still inside a nursery pot, and the roots are coming through the bottom or if you pull the plant out and see the roots wrapped around like in my photos, then it’s time to repot! It’s always a good idea to wait for the plant to acclimate to your home (about 2-4 weeks) before you repot it though, even if it’s rootbound, unless the plant is suffering from overwatering or a pest issue that requires repotting. And some plants actually like being a little tight in their pots, so make sure to do your research so that you don’t move it into a pot that’s too big πŸͺ΄πŸ’š
@saatwood awesome. Thank you!
@plantmama88 no problem! πŸ€—
