One(1) year, I pruned Polly, Marla, Hilly, and Phil back sooooo much I thought I'd damaged them. (a Golden Epipremnum, Marble Epipremnum, Hibiscus, and Syngonium) I was nervous, even though I'd replanted their clippings. My mom laughed.
Those babies grew back with all kinds of gusto!!! Pruning forces/encourages new growth.
Get excited... and watch your lights 😝

Two years ago when we first moved out here I cut him all the way back to the edge of the planter and immediately was like "👀 oh god what have I done??" and then BOOM he absolutely exploded with new growth. Lol 😂

Wow!!! Buddy is definitely one happy plant!!! Crazy you cut him all the way back only 2 yrs ago and he has clearly flourished since!!! Don't forget to use that golden pothos water for your other plants!!! I wish I had that many cuttings to steal the water from!!! Mine is still pretty small....well extremely small compared to Buddy 😆 Like teeny tiny small if this is the comparison 😆
P.S. @WickedValkyrie I'm still mind blown 😆 Have you repotted in the 2 yrs? Do you have him on steroids ??? 😆 What kind of fertilizer do you use? Tell us your secrets!!!
😂😅 @WickedLush I used to harvest my pothos water but I stopped doing it after a while cuz I really didn't notice much difference on most of my plants. Plus I'm lazy. Lol
He's actually been in this pot since 2020 or 2019 when he started as just a few single node cuttings I got from a neighbor... 😅 The closest thing I've done to a repot was to pull him out and add a bit extra soil at the bottom and around the edges several months ago. A few days ago I added a couple inches of new soil on top too.
I ran out of fertilizer so he hasn't got any the last few times I watered him but before that he was getting 50% strength #foxfarmgrowbig every time I watered. He also occasionally gets #mycorrhizalfungi to help with nutrient intake. (:

@Stall54Jo I have never repotted it... 😅 Last year I pulled it out and added a bit extra soil at the bottom/around the edges and a couple weeks ago I added some extra soil to the top, but that's the best I've done... I need to find a larger window box planter, but so far that hasn't happened. Lol
