Makeshift quarantine/prop box! A couple of the #scale infected babies had a gravity related accident a couple days ago so I needed to try to prop them anyways and I knew they wouldn't survive in the terrible lighting in the quarantine ward, so I put some soil in an old deli meat container and stuck them back in the plant room with the lid on! Hoping it will be air tight enough that the buggos can't get out...🀞🀞🀞

(I also thought Vera was rotting so I removed a bunch of leaves only to discover it was just bruising from me haphazardly "scrubbing" the leaves with a qtip and decided to take a couple from Melon as well cuz she's not doing very well...)

Wish us luck in hopefully having some success!

@tango I've never done this before so I'm kinda nervous... πŸ˜† I usually just lay them on a shallow tray like you can see in the last pic...
@WickedValkyrie that’s what I do too! I think just be careful about humidity gathering and they should be fine. You don’t need to water succ props so I think it won’t be an issue!
