HELP!!!!! I need some serious help with my golden sedum succulent. It’s been an emotional roller coaster from the start. So when I first got her, she wasn’t thriving but she also wasn’t dying lol. So I brought her home and being a new succulent/plant parent, yup, you guessed it I over watered her and caused her root rot. Luckily we made it out alive from that rookie mistake, then she started getting sunburned, so every other week I’ve moved her farther away from direct bright light. Now she’s developed chicken pokes!!!!! Jkjk but for real she has red spots on her stem, they haven’t been there long as I do check on her probably more then I should but Being that she was one of 4 plants that had barely survived my beginning to plant parenthood I feel the need to keep her alive by all means necessary. She’s been a trooper so far and I’d love to show her off one day and brag about how she survived despite my unintentional efforts to kill her. Some one has to have had this issues before. I would cut off all the weird lower leaves, cut off the bare stem, wait for the wound to scab and try to root it again. Don’t worry, I started with succulents recently and also hurt several plants. Some survived, others were lost forever. That’s a part of the learning curve, and you are doing great!
