To get you started off right, at your earliest convenience gently dig down a couple inches at the base of that braided money tree and if there is anything binding it together under the soil remove that. Doing that will save you from a lot of future issues.
Nurseries bind the plants to help them stay together when they are young, but as the plant matures eventually the band will start to restrict it and cause all sorts of problems.

@HeraMonstera I didnβt find anything down below but I was curious to know about the binding just about the top braid. Should I remove that? Iβve gotten mixed opinions about it.
@Blank_Canvas it doesnβt look overly tight. Itβs probably not harmful, but if the braid is holding together on its own then itβs also not necessarily doing anything. If it was digging in or if the trunks looked unhealthy Iβd say remove it. Removing it now is likely more of an aesthetic choice.
You could try untying it to see if it stays together. If it doesnβt you can tie it back on, just make sure itβs loose.
