#SpiderPlant #SadPlant Will my spider plant revive after I found out she was root bound. I had to repot her last night in a bigger pot. What are your alls thoughts?
I have her under a grow light now.
@Shayebriannah I hope so. I killed my first one. Thank you.
She’ll be good to go. They are just easy plants and will bounce back. I’ve even chopped off half the ryzomes before and they did great.
Absolutely. And spiders like to be a bit rootbound.
These plants are so tough and resilient!! It’ll be fine! Are the photos after you repotted it?
Don’t worry, spider plant is amazing plant, she is really stubborn and can survive a lot of conditions, yet in my experience I treat her like a cactus, I leave the soil to dry completely and then give it a day or two more and then water it, I noticed that when I water it regularly, the leafs becomes soft and lay down, when I leave it dry it bounces back
@White_sand1011 yes it was after I repotted it.
She’s lovely. My spiders are usually super hardy to repotting. I’m sure she’ll do great with all the love and attention you shower your plants with!
Wonder if I removed all the leaves would they come back? Most of them were rotted.
@RJG @Kiersten what do you think if I were to remove all the leaves? What’s your opinion, will they grow back? I had to repot it because it became root bound. Then I noticed the leaves were rotting.
I don't see any rotting leaves? maybe I am just missing. I'm sure it's fine. Spiders are super resilient
Here’s what left of it.
@RJG I just posted pics of what it looks like now. Does a spritzer plant reproduce new leaves? If not then this will be the 2nd spider plant in killed. 😒😒πŸ₯ΊπŸ₯Ί
I meant a spider plant.
@KikisOasis i don't know specifically about spiders. @Lara had a HUGE one before she moved
@RJG I still have it. πŸ˜…
@Lara Omg I thought it was left behind πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚
@RJG I almost left it behind, but it ended up coming with. I am thinking about getting it its own plant stand cause I think it’s on the verge of being too heavy to hang.

I honestly completely neglect mine, but it keeps putting out more babies than I know what to do with. πŸ˜…
I love having mine in my bathroom window and it loves the humidity and all i have grown 3 in there and they all do amazing!
