@DreamMachine it’s real! Albucas are neat. They all have spiral leaves, but each has its own way of spiraling. Mine could be tighter if they got more sun

@JesterLimetuff I think it’s considered a succulent. It doesn’t have succulent leaves, but it’s a plant from dry environs. It has a pretty big caudex under the soil
@teacher12 grew it from seed! This one is a little over a year old, just past its first dormancy. Seeds sown April 2024. I got them from unusualseeds.net, but that may be more difficult now with the end of the de minimis tariff exemption
@Peachyhoyas thank you! I only have Albuca Concordia and Bruce-Bayeri in my collection, but I’d like to add more. “Frizzle-sizzle” got instagram-hot a few years ago, but other albuca are just as interesting and much more available
