Lithops flowering season is here!

It’s that time of year again: Lithops flowering season! This double headed one has a flower on each head and is my first bloomer this year! @Lithopslover #LithopsArmy #Lithops bloomingSuccs">#bloomingSuccs #SucculentSquad #SucculentLove #Mesembs

Wow!
Mine has been stuck splitting for months πŸ™„ maybe I'll get flowers next year 🀞🏼
🀩🀩 They are so cute! Jana, I adore your collection of succulents!
Hi Jana ! I was wondering what kind of soil or ratios you use for your lithops mix I see rocks on the top, but I’m wondering what’s underneath πŸ˜‰
@TidyTigerpear it’s mostly tiny quartz pebbles/big grainy sand I collect from the creek here. Rocks here are mostly sandstone so this is a plentiful material. I mix in just a tiny amount of cactus soil, too. I put these white pebbles from Walmart on top just for the color. You can use pumice, too. I just make sure it’s about 90% grit and 10% soil, both for drainage and because I’ve found that soil that is too nutritious makes them get especially fat, which makes it harder for them to split.
