I know I'm posting even more than usual today: but... but... aren't those darling? Those are tiny 2 inch pots 🌿😍🌿. I'm so glad I took a chance on that extremely etiolated bedraggled no-id #echeveria (even haggling the price down to a fraction) and had this great community, more specifically the #succulentsquad, advising me to just repot the leafless stem and let it be. The leaf propagations really didn't work out so well, but I just "harvested" all those cute little pups from the stem, already with roots and everything. This was exactly the color I was hoping for, after seeing the mother in the shop. I'm in love.
These PVN babies are simply cute! πŸ₯°
@vvvelo I think so, too. They are so perfect and colorful . And satiny. You sure it's a PVN, though? I wasn't sure, because though with these ones the color fits, the leaf props did some strange intensely deep red stuff (under almost the same light intensity, maybe even a bit less)
@MusicalRedmint oh yeah. Baby PVN looks like that.
@vvvelo Ah. Okay. I guess the tiny ones get sunstressed more intensely and easily than the grown-ups? I was panicky for a moment, because the big one looked so gorgeous πŸ˜€ but the toddlers already look great. Cannot wait for them to grow. Thanks for the id and confirmation.
@MusicalRedmint I am not sure I understand what do you call sun stress here. The plants look like they supposed to look.
@vvvelo can't take the picture of the tiny red ones rn, maybe tomorrow. πŸ€·β€β™€οΈ Maybe it's not sunstressed, was just a theory because I know that with some other plants the small ones are way more susceptible to the effects of the sun - with anthocyanins being produced faster than with the big ones.
@MusicalRedmint pvn will cover itself in farina if there is too much sun
@vvvelo not what I meant. But good to know. I will maybe post pictures tomorrow.
So cute πŸ₯°πŸ˜β€οΈ
Here are the leaf props, though they've already lost a bit of the deepest red ringe, it was even darker than this.
@MusicalRedmint Purple Pearl, maybe? Purple Pearl, and Dusty Rose are PVN variants!
@LittleSongbird thank you. The bigger ones look more like the vanilla form already. I will Google those two and wait and see. Thank you for your suggestions 😊
