This is my plant story....This was my first houseplant. It took me awhile to figure out exactly what it was but I guess it's an umbrella plant. She has grown a few inches since I first brought her home 3 years ago. I think it's time to repot her but I've never done that with such a large plant. Any suggestions on how to go about it? I'm nervous I'll damage or even kill her. She's the reason why I have over 35 plants today. I'm now a true plant addict! #GregGivesBack #GIVEAWAY #plantAddict #umbrellaplant #umbrellatree
Three years is about standard in repotting this plant. Here is info I hope will help you to get it done. https://keepyourplantsalive.com/when-to-re-pot-an-umbrella-plant/ I have had one for many years and mine needs repotting as well. And also trimming down. You will do fine. Just be prepared with larger pot and correct soil when you are ready. You got this!! And welcome to Greg!
Thank u Evelyn! I read the article and it was extremely helpful. I'm going to repot soon, just need to find the perfect pot πŸ’•
