@vvvelo that crazy because we call the snake plant that here Lolol
@Boymom-plantmom yeah Iβve heard it about snake plant too. Maybe somebody misleaded me in the past about this plant. Who knowsβ¦. Everything is in history nowβ¦ lol π
@Boymom-plantmom Iβve seen this plant with red flowers either. I did not know that it can bloom with white flowers. Very nice! Do you keep it outside the whole summer?
@vvvelo yes! It goes from under a shade cloth to the greenhouse! Depending on the rain we get
@boymom-plantmom this plant reminds me of my epiphyllums but they both have giant queen of the night style blooms. this plant is so interesting.
also, oh dear, I think I need one of those. π #toomanyplants #tinyhouse_giantplants
@WayoutRanch wait let me see this whole plant. Mine has never bloomed
@WayoutRanch wow incredible!! This is my baby that just really doesnβt grow much! She started to burn so I put her back inside. Need to do alittle acclimating into the sun I guess.
yes I got mine a terrible sunburn this year. I really think they need full shade or filtered light all day. Mine grows like crazy, as you can see. I keep it outside under the pine trees all spring and bring it in in the winter. Last summer it had 7-9 blooms 3 separate times. I have had that plant since 2016 when it was smaller than yours. It will grow! π
@WayoutRanch I have mine about 4 years but always inside! I have the perfect oak tree to put it out under!! I will try that but prob should look at the roots to make sure all is ok as well. Prob time for a repot anyways!
yeah! totally put it outside. it will love it! Sunburn is the only thing to watch for and you are already on that. It doesn't seem to care about getting rained in lots. Look out, you might have trouble bringing it in. I actually thought I would not take mine outside again after this winter, it has gotten so enormous.
@KrunchyWrapz oh nooooooo!!
