Don’t you love it when they burst new leaves
@clairsheart Yes. This is the first new leaves since I got them so I'm really excited.
Yay!!!! Congrats!! Such a rewarding feelingπŸ’— so happy for you!! 🫢🏻🌱
@PioneerRutabaga Thank you 😁
Great!πŸ€—πŸŒ±

Although I am noticing the spots you have on some of your leaves. Are you treating it with a fungicide?πŸ’š
@MockingJay No, I don't. Should I treat it with fungicide?
@CozyJeffreypine I would, just in case. Those spots looks like it might be fungal. If it is only on those two leaves I would also consider removing them to keep it from spreadingπŸͺ΄
Oh have you ever heard of the Arber products? They are a bit pricey BUT, in my opinion, with what I spend on some of my plants, it’s worth the extra investment in the products I use to keep them healthy. The Arber line is really amazing bc they are all completely organic AND they work!! They have a plant food. Then they have a bio-fungicide, a bio-insecticide, and a bio-plant protector that’s like a shot of vit C only for plants!!
Just last week I noticed a spot forming on one of the leaves of my silver dragon Alocasia. I sprayed it with the Arber Bio-fungicide from and back of the leaf until it was running off…I did that every two or three days and it started to shrink until it was gone!! I probably sprayed it 4 or 5 times total.
I should also note that I’ve been using the Bio-plant protector as well. That may or may not play a role in dealing with the fungus but I thought it’s at least worth mentioning, ya know?
It’s super easy to measure out too. It’s 4 capfuls per gallon of water and then into a spray bottle. Also very important to shake it up before ya add to the water.
I included a picture of the bottle.
