My mother in law dropped off this aloe in need of a rescue! The soil it came in was heavy, compacted, and absolutely sopping wet. She said it’s been wet like this for months. Big yikes! The leaves were pretty mushy. So mushy in fact that they started falling off by themselves as I was repotting the poor thing. Upon closer inspection when I took it out of the pot it has no roots. Pretty much just fell out of the pot on its own! I repotted with succulent and cactus mix. I also put root powder in the soil and on the aloe itself. So hopefully that’ll help out. I really hope it pulls through. It’s not looking good for now. #AloeVera #Aloe #aloeplant #PlantsMakePeopleHappy #PlantAddict #SucculentLove #PlantTherapy #RootRot #ThanksForPhotosynthesis

Oh nooo, at least you’ve done all you can to help it, they seem to be relentless plant’s so I bet it’ll bounce back in no time ☺️ Sending green love & prosperity to your new rescue!
Ps- I always like to let people know in case they don’t, when your aloe gets bigger you can actually use the aloe leaf juice as a natural root hormone for cuttings !
@Artistic_Stoner thank you! Wow that’s amazing!
@BogBody you’re welcome ☺️
