My mother in law dropped off this aloe in need of a rescue! The soil it came in was heavy, compacted, and absolutely sopping wet. She said itβs been wet like this for months. Big yikes! The leaves were pretty mushy. So mushy in fact that they started falling off by themselves as I was repotting the poor thing. Upon closer inspection when I took it out of the pot it has no roots. Pretty much just fell out of the pot on its own! I repotted with succulent and cactus mix. I also put root powder in the soil and on the aloe itself. So hopefully thatβll help out. I really hope it pulls through. Itβs not looking good for now. #AloeVera #Aloe #aloeplant #PlantsMakePeopleHappy #PlantAddict #SucculentLove #PlantTherapy #RootRot #ThanksForPhotosynthesis

Ps- I always like to let people know in case they donβt, when your aloe gets bigger you can actually use the aloe leaf juice as a natural root hormone for cuttings !
