Gorgeous 😍 did u use a leaf shine or it’s naturally like that ?
Gorgeous! I am currently having a little trouble with mine. It has funny yellowish orange areas on a few of the leaves. I am not sure if it is from lack of humidity or a watering issue really.
@Indoorgreens that’s natural. I clean my plants with a dash of dawn dish soap, but just enough to form a few bubbles in the bowl of water, then I wipe the leaves down, and mist them with distilled water to rinse any soap residue that may be left behind. The distilled water doesn’t leave water marks and it’s just enough water to allow fast drying so the water isn’t just sitting on the leaves.
@Stall54Jo it could be but that smaller plant looks like it’s just ready to go because alocasias shed the oldest leaves as new one come in. That second pic looks like maybe water rested on the leaf for a bit and it burned in that spot from the light. Lightly mist πŸ™ƒ also alocasias don’t like dried soil but don’t like their feet sitting in standing water. I kinda wait about a week and a half before I water again. If the soil is still damp then I wait a couple more days before I water.
