@Indoorgreens thatβs natural. I clean my plants with a dash of dawn dish soap, but just enough to form a few bubbles in the bowl of water, then I wipe the leaves down, and mist them with distilled water to rinse any soap residue that may be left behind. The distilled water doesnβt leave water marks and itβs just enough water to allow fast drying so the water isnβt just sitting on the leaves.
@Stall54Jo it could be but that smaller plant looks like itβs just ready to go because alocasias shed the oldest leaves as new one come in. That second pic looks like maybe water rested on the leaf for a bit and it burned in that spot from the light. Lightly mist π also alocasias donβt like dried soil but donβt like their feet sitting in standing water. I kinda wait about a week and a half before I water again. If the soil is still damp then I wait a couple more days before I water.
