Get an app, oh wait you did! lol actually my advice to new plant people is don’t over water. Make sure and use Greg’s suggestion on water and get a good fertilizer- so many out there but since you only have a few plants to start just choose one for general houseplants. Watch you tube videos on the plants you have and you should find a person you like to watch (so many to choose from) and just start bingeing! It all starts from there and the next thing you know your house will be full! I have so many more suggestions but don’t overwater is my first and foremost. Everything else you need to know will come as your plants teach you their needs or you discover from the Greg app and the internet (I love to watch you tube for information).
I love that you’re willing to jump right in and learn! We all learn and grow πŸ˜† by trying! It looks like you’re off to a great start by completely filling out the info on your plantsπŸ‘. That’s going to help with getting the watering schedule down correctly. Remember that the watering is a suggestion, it’s still up to you to determine if the plant really needs water. If Greg says the soil is dry but when you look and touch it the soil isn’t dry then snooze it. Better in most cases to underwater than overwater. Your carnation is darling!πŸ₯° My tip is as the flowers start to β€œgo by” it’s best to trim them off. As the flower goes by it’s also going to seed and will be putting energy into that rather than more flowers or more greenery.
