What's your best snake plant advice?
I bought this huge snake plant a few days ago and I want to make sure I take care of it well,
I also have another snake plant that has have 0 growth. #advice #help

[Edit - I was wrong my small snake plant does have some growth!! 😄😄]
0ft to light, direct
6” pot with drainage
Last watered 1 month ago
The pot needs drainage holes because snake plants are from the desert and pots with no holes in the bottom hold in too much water. Use a pot the same size as its current pot, but with holes in the bottom. Use a homemade succulent soil mix (find a recipe online) and watch a video on how to repot succulents.
@SimpleSucc it has drainage holes, sorry I forgot to fill out the whole plant profile
@TheGnome contrary to popular belief snake plants like sunlight. I would definitely move it closer to a window and basically forget about it. They don't want to be fussed over they retain water so they don't need to be watered as often as other plants do.
@TheGnome Dex looks great BTW! So tall! They aren't very fast growers either so don't worry too much about it not growing.
i would suggest putting it in a terracotta or similar type container and also using cactus/succulent soil. mine love it.
good luck! you have a gorgeous plant! 💚
@TheGnome oh, okay! I've made that mistake before 😅. In that case, it's pretty healthy! It may need to be moved a little closer to a window, though.
