@Kanteen you have a beautiful Oasis. πŸ₯°
@Kanteen I have been seeing a lot of people posting a lot about Venus Flytraps and it’s making me want to try one as well.
@kris10nicolee your Oasis is beautiful 🀩 too. Happy growing all your babies. πŸ’šπŸ’šπŸŒ±πŸŒ±
@KikiGoldblatt thank you so much. they are alot of fun to watch grow! you wouldn't be sorry! lol. they were my first plant then all the others followed πŸ˜πŸ˜‚
How are you keeping it healthy?My Venus β€œheads” keep dying,they turn black and dye off.
@Babystar tell me how your currently taking care of yours and I can tell you what to do
@kris10nicolee any advice for a new owner of one? Mine look small like that
@Jackhowa yeah. just keep it In a container of distilled water and give it full sun. are you keeping yours indoor or outdoor
Indoors under grow light!
@Jackhowa ok. so like I said keep it In a container filled with distilled water. fill it til it gets to about halfway up the pot... refill it whenever all the water is gone. keep it under grow lights as long as the sun is up. so you kinda mimic being outside. so turn them on in the morning and then when night time comes turn them off.
if you send a picture I can give you more advice on feeding. I just need to see exactly how big it is
Very little at the moment @kris10nicolee has a water tray Built in. Using distilled water now; first water I didn’t
@Jackhowa ohhh it doesn't look very happy. I suggest you pot it in a plastic pot with drainage holes and put it in a container of distilled water like this.
@Jackhowa. never top water too. you should never have to water your VFT if you keep it In a tray of water
Oh interesting! Thanks. Didn’t realize it couldn’t be top-watered
@Jackhowa yeah. the whole purpose of it sitting in distilled water is to keep it wet enough so you don't ever have to water.
