What do you think? Time to give the #AvacadoPlant bonsai a root trim? A spa day indeed needed. Root trim, soil refresh and a (fabulous) new rock.
5ft to light, direct
7” pot with drainage

Yea! Looks good!

Awesome pic πŸ˜„πŸŒ·
@CorvidFan I had to do a double take when I looked at your screen name. First read it as β€œCovid fan” 🀣🀣 Whew. Thanks. I’ve sprouted and grown many, many avocados over the years (thanks grandma). But last year was the first time I’ve tried to train a #Bonsai with one. So far, so good.
Ah yes, an unfortunate near coincidence.

One letter can turn something that was an awful experience for many into a beautiful, intelligent creature that has personally brought me much joy.

Have your avocado plants produced edible fruit? I may have to try sprouting a seed.
@CorvidFan No fruit. I no longer live in a climate to grow them outside. And I’ve never heard of an indoor one producing. And if I’m not mistaken, you need a male and a female. And by the time they are mature enough to tell the difference, you’re old and tired and don’t care anymore. 🀣
I'm north of you in the same climate (was hoping to hear a resounding 'Yes! Tons of delicious avocados!').

Second prize, and on its own, worth the effort, I'm sure: Beautiful leaves!
